About Blended Learning
Our online blended courses are open to all London residents and employer workforce development and unemployed. Courses are fully funded, subject to eligibility criteria and can be free for 19+.
Our online courses are all tutor-led and delivered to the class live through Teams and Google Classroom. Our virtual classroom online is to keep you learning and developing yourself for the new job or career progression needing new skills to upskill your job or just learning new skills to improve your English and Maths.
Our online blended courses allow the achievement of Nationally and Internationally recognised qualifications at Entry Level 3 to Level 5. All you need is the commitment to lifelong learning at no cost to travel and time out of work.
Quality Virtual classroom teaching is delivered through our teaching platforms TEAMS, ZOOM and or Google Classroom with additional tutor support on a 1-2-1 basis via TEAMS, email or phone WhatsApp with ongoing guidance from sector assessors.
If you can’t make a certain class, we’ll send you a link to the recording, so you don’t miss anything. Each of our lesson resources is written by industry professionals with expertise in their subject and vocational experience.
Our Online Learning courses are tutor-led and supported by the following platforms:
- • ZOOM, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, and other teaching and learning platforms.
- • You'll need to download the tool on your PC/laptop or Tablet.
- • You will need to have an internet connection.
- • We are ready to help and provide introductory sessions on how to use the platforms.
- • Sessions are set at a scheduled time.
- • You will need to log in at the scheduled set time for your tutor led sessions.
- • You'll also have activities to work through by yourself or in small teams.
- • Lots of independent learning and activities to work through.
- • Your learning will be monitored by the tutor with progress reviews.
- • Access to additional learning support.
- • Small group face-to-face sessions throughout your course wherever possible.
- • Printed worksheets will be provided for those learning at Entry 3 to Level 3.
- • Opportunity for learning independently and as a family.
- • Upload your work for marking with tutor feedback on your progress.
- • You can email or speak to your tutor by TEAMS message or webchat at www.micomputsolutions.co.uk if you need any help.
How to Join our Online Tutor Led Classroom
Step 1
Complete our Application Form at Pre-Registration and Eligibility
Step 2
Once you've submitted completed application, then we'll have a phone conversation to tell you what documents we need to see in order to make sure you can access a funded place.
You will need to complete an Initial Skills Assessment for the course you're applying for. The initial assessment guide and link to the assessment will be emailed and you can take the assessment.
Step 3
Once we receive your completed initial assessment result, then we'll have a phone conversation so you can find out more about the course, career prospect and what level is best for you and next step on completion and achievement.
Step 4
You'll start your course! We'll give you as much notice as we can about the exact start date.
