Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Social Responsibility (SR) is at the core of our purposes and goals, which are part of our business’s success.

As a voluntary organization dedicated to its community, particularly those who are most disadvantaged, we uphold a strong commitment to social responsibility that aligns with our community activities. This commitment guides our business operations and shapes our interactions with stakeholders, including employees, government entities, businesses, regulatory bodies, customers and the community at large.

We are committed to providing high-quality educational and employment services to our community by addressing the needs of the most disadvantaged individuals, in order to deliver an exceptional experience to learners and community members alike.

How do we do it?

Provision of basic educational support and advice:to non-governmental organizations in Africa, striving to contribute positively to society. Our initiatives include donations for educational and employment skills support aimed at young children and adults, leading to meaningful outcomes.

Providing an effective and confident workforce: we are dedicated to fostering an effective and confident workforce by ensuring that employees feel secure in their roles and within the organization, while also creating a safe working environment.

Environmental sustainability: we are committed to contributing to energy efficiency by reducing our carbon footprint. Our goal is to minimize electricity consumption in the workplace. Electrical devices are used only as needed. We also promote a paperless approach by encouraging electronic communication and online assessments. Additionally, we prioritize purchasing from suppliers who share the same business ethics.

Accountability and governance: we strive for excellence in delivery, effective accountability, compliance and governance to maximize performance and success. We adhere to regulations and laws while fostering a culture of integrity, adaptability, innovation and fairness in our organisational behaviour.

Our core values

  • • Commitment to the disadvantaged members of the community
  • • Business workforce development
  • • Commitment to stakeholders

Good Things Foundation and its impact on our learners

The DevicesDotNow initiative by Good Things Foundation helped us secure 10 tablets with prepaid data for the most vulnerable and disadvantaged adults in our community and educational centre. This allowed them to continue to engage with their learning and to communicate with families and friends and the organisation during the COVID19 Lockdown.

Being a community provider and locally placed in one of the most multi-deprived boroughs in London, meant the majority of our learners fell into the eligibility criteria e.g. socially excluded, financially deprived (no access to equipment and resources), low income learners with underlying health conditions or disabilities. Therefore, we are grateful and happy to have worked with the Good Things Foundation on this project and to get devices to those in need during these extremely difficult times. It has been good to be able to communicate with learners, check on their health and well-being through the installed ZOOM application.
