Skills Bootcamp

MISDC Skills Bootcamps aim to help Londoners aged 19+ to enter employment, upskill or change career. It is opened to adults who are full-time or part-time employed, self-employed or unemployed, as well as adults returners to work after a break. MISDC Bootcamp training courses provide access to in-demand sector specific skills training and provide a guaranteed job interview on completion. In addition learners will also receive guidance on entering professional working environments to fully prepare them for new roles. MI Skills Development Centre’s Skills Bootcamps for Londoners programme supports Londoners to gain in demand skills with progression into jobs in 2 priority skills sectors:

  • • Early Years Workforce Development
  • • Health and Social Care

    • Bootcamps last up to 16 weeks and will focus on higher level training at Level 3, delivery is hybrid model of online and in-person.


        Employer Benefits

        Bootcamps can help employers find new, diverse talent to help futureproof their business, saving costs from other traditional recruitment routes. Our programme aims to fill gaps in Health and Social Care and Early Years, skills shortages to help employers recruit and upskill existing employees. Programmes are co-designed with employers to directly address their needs and key challenges with specific job roles. This are reflected in our course design throughout the duration of our Bootcamps course.

We are here to guide you on to the right path, whether that is with education, further training and employment opportunities or a combination of all of these.

      We will take the time to sit down with you and discuss your individual needs so that we can create a personalised plan to help you progress. We have a range of options and a menu of programmes to help you develop and we will be able to offer guidance that is most suited to you.

      We know the things that employers look for and with the right skills, behaviour and attitudes, you will have more options available to you. Our courses are aimed at bettering your personal development to open new career opportunities for you. Example courses include:
