Maths, English, ESOL, Accounting and ICT Tutors


To design and deliver courses in your subject area/s which engage disadvantaged and vulnerable residents within our community through using effective assessment tools, innovative course and Lesson Planning, production of resources and appropriate teaching techniques.

Trainer/assessors will be expected to deliver quality teaching and learning to adults using the Apprenticeship frameworks and Workbase learning. Will be involved in recruiting and training to employees within your subject area(s).

You will be expected to contribute to the planning, development and successful delivery of teaching and learning in line with relevant curriculum standards and in line with organisation quality procedures.

To fully complete, and submit to deadlines, accurate administrative paperwork related to the organisation of teaching including, Attendance Record, Tutor Monitoring Tools, completion and Achievement Data, course folders, course evaluations, and other course and statistical information as required.

To work with learners to promote regular attendance, punctuality, and progression to further learning and employment, including following up on absences where appropriate.

You will be required to teach and provide cover on a flexible basis to our part-time adult and young based courses.

As part of this role, you may be expected to work at various centres or employer’s premises.
