We are seeking to appoint a pro-active, enthusiastic self-starter with a track record of successful Project Management skills and experience to support and manage our Skills and Employment Support project. This is an employment focussed provision and the successful applicant will have a proven track record of achieving performance targets and the ability to build and maintain positive partnership working.
The post is based in Greater London and the role involves managing the delivery of the contract, its sub-partners including staff management, quality, financials and performance.
Purpose of the job:
- To undertake project management for Skills and Employment project and manage, support the workload of staff engaged in the delivery of this project.
- To lead, manage and support project sub-partners
- To act as expert and adviser on specific project assignments.
- To advise directors on delivery issues relating to the allocated project.
Project Manager role
To be responsible for the successful development and management of allocated project, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and according to funders and company expectation.
This is a senior position within the Skills and Employment division. The role carries responsibility for ensuring continuity in client relationships (funders, partners, associates and third-party deliverers), delivery of contract on time and within budget, through effective management of a project team and its sub-partners. Project Manager reports to the Operations Director and will be accountable for line managing employees within the Employment and Skills.
