Overall Purpose of the Job

We require an experienced ILR Audit/Quality Assistant to work as part of a small team whose main purpose is to meet the data return requirements of a range of external stakeholders and provide timely data and statistics to managers and staff within the organisation.
You will be responsible for assisting the office in a range of duties, ensuring that our administrative systems are continuously developed, and all data is stored in an orderly and secure manner.

There will be particular responsibility for the quality, validation and accuracy of Apprenticeship, Traineeship, Classroom and Workplace Learning data. You will be educated to A Level standard or equivalent (min) and have experience of data collection, management, analysis and reporting along with excellent administrative, organisational and IT Skills. Experience of accurately producing documents and materials under pressure and to tight deadlines is essential.

Furthermore to assist the MIS Manager in consolidating, improving and enhancing the work of the information services functions of the organisation with strong emphasis on developing and producing high quality curriculum data reports throughout the year but will also involve deputising for the MIS Manager in all of his duties.

The role will require the successful candidate to work closely with a variety of curriculum and recruitment areas throughout the organisation. The officer will join a team of five key personnel – the MIS Manager, the Exams Officer, the Learner Administrator Assistant and the Admissions Officer.

It is essential that the officer/s possesses excellent interpersonal skills, is technically adept, has high standards, an experienced organiser, has a good understanding of post-16 curriculum and has the ability to adapt quickly to new environments and technologies.
